The Ravens are where they are right now for several reasons. 1. They're getting old and several of the key players in that defense are starting to wither away. This is a natural aging process and the Ravens are about to need a full rebuild on that side of the ball sooner than you'd think. 2. Their first round QB of several seasons ago did not work out. Any time you invest in somebody like Boller and he doesn't work out you've hurt yourself down the road. 3. The QB they got last year to fill the gap left by Boller's failure is 34 years old and injury prone. There was no reason to expect that the Ravens would get a lot out of McNair this year given his career pattern and they're not. It's time for Billick to get a change of scenery and my guess is he'll do it after this season. http://forums.theganggreen.com/showpost.php?p=613197&postcount=1
i agree with getting Suggs. but Chris Long? he's not suited for our DL, which is undersized to begin with. Suggs - or any OLB - wouldn't generate pressure with Long trying to free them up.
