How excited are you now for the NEW ERA of the NY Jets?

Nope the last group of "best" players overall was the 68 season After that season & up now all we had is garbage since we do not skilled players in the very key areas of which QB is the keyest

I'm excited for what we are doing but am not putting high expectations on this season 8 and 8 or 9 and 7 is realistic to me

 

I've been wearing the same hat since 2002 for every game and frankly it looks like shit. Need a new division champions hat so for now I would be just fine with that.

 

Can't wait for those "WHAT IT MEANS TO BE GREEN" commercials and how a father/son duo's 1st ever Jets game was "one they will never forget" in their New York accent.

 

I'll be excited before/after week 1.

Do it on the field!! I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited for August/preseason games, but I won't give any predictions, or assessments until week 10

 

I am always excited about the football season. But I have seen seasons where my expectations were low and things went very well. Of course, as all Jet fans know, the reverse has been more often true. So I temper my expectations and just wait for the games

 

actually, the best thing would be for geno to just become the franchise qb we have been missing and bryce to show enough to be traded for a 1st rd puck in 2 years.
but i will take your scenario too.
as far as the poll, i am pretty even on the team so far. yea the d should be stout, but same questions remain on offense. i will take a wait and see approach here

After so many years as a Jets fan, I don't get excited any more but I like the direction of the franchise. Macc and Bowles are taking chances on players based on their makeup and grit, not just their combine times. Going to wait tell the season starts to reserve judgement. Our QB situation still sucks.

Im excited because we have the look of a team that doesnt need an elite QB to win in the playoffs.

It would be nice to get just good QB play this year. Good QB play on this team could mean 12 wins and who knows what else come playoff time.

 

I'm not excited per say but I'm more optimistic that great things may lie ahead.I'll be excited in December if we are competing for a playoff spot

 

I'm as excited as I've been since 2010.

This roster to me is fantastic, players want to come here again, and the team is led by a promising young coAch.

I feel that this is the beginning of the era we've all been waiting for and it's exciting.

For the record I expect this team to be way better than many think this year.
