Nope.. I need to see a cohesive, functioning team that doesn't trip over its own cleats trying to do the most rudimentary things like.... getting off the field on 3rd down or.... Wr's running patterns to the other side of the 1st down marker and THEN going for YAC's.. You know, the things successful teams don't have a problem executing..
Yep I go back to 1965 so does that make a real fan & BTW what is the real fan. What do we get for being real fan. How many years do U have in to the NYJs & does that make U a real fan?
Yep. I am really happy. It really was a no brainer. I live only 30 minutes away from Metlife. I love tailgating. I have a friend group who is there every Sunday tailgating. I don't bring anything. I just join their tailgate, eat, drink and pay a small amount for the cost. Win or lose I love watching the Jets at Metlife. And if the game is crappy or Jets are shitting the bed I leave end of 3rd quarter to beat the traffic. All good Grandpa. Sundays will be more fun.
Crappy seats. truly crappy. Section 334, Row 23. $450 for season tix and $250 for 10 game orange parking.
For $450 you're in the door for every home game, that's a great deal! It's not bad sitting up top, sometimes it's the best view. I sit 10th row in the end zone and that's great except for when the ball is on the other side of the field and I have no idea if the ball is being thrown into the flat or ten yards down the field.
I agree. My goal is to get in the door for Bills, Pats, Cowboys, Giants and Steelers games. Maybe one of the Browns, Dolphins, Raiders games. And I don't have to worry about finding parking etc. All good. Pretty good deal to be able to still sit on the sidelines. Look at the map. I am sideline right? Lol.
Congrats buddy. Its all good, I could tell you didn't want to deal with Stubhub and wanted to commit. Row 23 blows but that's the only way to pay $45 a game. My only issue with any STH account is the god damm pre season and parking. The majority of people in your section will fans of our game day opponent so be prepared for that. Glad you got what you wanted. lets hope playoff tickets will be purchased with those season tickets!!!
Congrats Brook. Its an amazing experience when the team is actually playing well & crowd is into it.It makes the headache of the traffic, crowds & overpriced food almost an afterthought. No sweeter feeling than a Jets victory & one of those Italian pork sandwiches w sweet n hot peppers(Not sure if they still have these but best item ive ever had at a sporting event) Enjoy
First game I went to was in the Polo Grounds. I had season tickets through most of the seventies. I was at all the Yale Bowl preseason games. "I done my time." But that doesn't stop some kid with what he admits is a "most inane line" from telling me I'm not a real fan. Give him another thirty years of the Jets and he might curb his enthusiasm too.
Thanks guys. I still don't have buyers remorse. Lol. I have tickets on my Jets account already. Amazing feeling. Not gonna lie. Amazing feeling. I won't bother checking stubhub this year at all. I have my tickets and parking tickets at my disposal. Bring on the new season. Can't wait!
30 mins away! That's my drive to work everyday! Good for you on getting season tix regardless of their location. I wish I could drive to see the Jets every Sunday but it would be a hard round trip from Tucson, AZ
Congrats on the seasons. For me I am in section 101 row 3. It's always fun to tailgate before and after just to let the crowd thin out. One year (hopefully this one) they will get good which will make going to the games even better.
May I remind U that several years back the NYJs went UNDEFEATED in the exhibition season & then went 4-12 in the regular season. So enuf of the poppy cock of stating what U stated in your post
