I was more excited last year. Excited is not the word I would use now. Concerned, skeptical. But also wondering just how it could either turn into a train wreck, or how luck could make it a better season than expected. Maybe Brady dies and the Jets win both against the Pats. Maybe Ryan actually succeeds in sweeping F'ing Miami. Yeah, if the Jets could sweep the division...

Well, best not get my hopes up too much. No, excited is not the word I would use.

I'm extremely excited, but the Jets owe it to me and owe it to themselves to redeem themselves and to kick some ass this season. No excuses!

Schotty's gone. Rex is pissed. Our D-line is going to be ridiculous. We finally have a real deep threat. Sparano will get the run game on track.

    Same here man.

We're essentially bringing back the same offense as last year. I'm not even sure McKnight is an upgrade over a washed up LT.

Hill is the wildcard. Plax was brutal last year so hopefully he can have an immediate impact as a down the field threat.

Yep, I agree with the above statement. Jets football should be some of the most exciting football being played this year.

I have to say Im really excited and I think were going to fool a lot of people who think what happened last year will happen this year. And with schotty gone and a few tweaks to the D-Line I think we have a damn good chance.. Plus I would rather fly under the radar then the spotlite of last year.. Soft Schedule helps,, Yeah IM READY.

Nearly every "soft" team game is on the road.. sea, stl, jack, tenn with the exception of arz who I have no idea what to expect from this year. I'd feel better if a few more of those games were at home.

I am excited to see a new defense with Rex calling the plays again, and cautiously optimistic and "interested" to see the way the offense is run. Also still concerned with Landry getting on the field, and still having holes at Safety. Excited to see the DLine. I have no idea what to think of the offense

Happy for football to be back. Don't know what to think about this season. I have a feeling it will be more of the same as last year. .500 football with lots of excuses, and no offense. I hope I'm wrong

Not excited to hear and see fans call for Tebow to be the starting QB. Which will happen.

I believe its gonna work out so Im damned excited.

I dont think I could take another year of constantly yelling "RUN THE BALL!!!"

Now at least we can find out what we have in our players.

    No more excuses.

    In closing, Im pumped!

I'm more excited for football season in general. I think we'll do okay this year, but I didnt like the offseason moves either.

If the Defense returns to 09/10 form and our offense cant score 7 points in the first Quarter who can beat us?Teebow extending drives with more 1st downs tis year. A fresh Defense. Limited turnovers ... It would be a great year but my expectations are....

11-5 With the Defense being #1 again 3 out of 5 games we lose on the west coast 1 to the pats and the steelers

you don't think Landry, Bell, Tebow, Coples, Sparano, Hill, Otah , D.Davis is an improvement over the 2011 team?????????????

Seattle I'll give you, but Stl, Jack are hardly considered 'tough places' to play.

as of now it looks like Jack and Stl offenses are going to be terrible.

the Arz. game is at home.
