    line, Line, LINE, LIIIIINNNNNEEEES!!!!!!

Those of you who keep saying we don't need to address the lines with the draft and can grab a few scrubs off of free agency are on crack and most likely never played football. The line is the anchor no matter what side of the ball it is on. A team with a great O-line and D-line are ALWAYS playoff teams. I say if there isn't a great D lineman at the top, then sure blow one pick on Mcfadden, it can't hurt. However EVERY OTHER PICK should be spent on making our lines bad ass, both sides. Next year we can worry about the pretty picks like QB's and WR's. For now it should be all line!

    You are right.

It's as is nobody has ever heard a QB or RB get interviewed after a good game. Who do they think first? The sure as fuck don't give themselves credit for being able to throw the ball 60 yards......or being fast enough to outrun the entire defence......no: they thank the O-line.

Now, why would they do that? Tough questions eh.....not really. They're the ones who play the game, they're the ones who UNDERSTAND the game.

I'd love to see the people who argue for McFadden or say cut Jones, Coles, and Clemens have an NFL coach laugh in their face at the suggestion that those things are our answer.

dude you are absolutley nuts if you think this team would have been 7-1 if there was another qb in. maybe they would of been 2-5

Sorry but this thread is retarded.

Everybody knows we need o line help, but it's not as if we are a guard and a tackle away from a super bowl, just because we need some new linemen means we shouldn't even discuss other needs? (on a Jets discussion forum no less) I don't get the point of this thread.

Ok, write this down: If we do not do anything of significance in the off-season utilizing the FA market for our Offensive line and maybe even our Defensive line than we will do no better than a 6 or 7 win season next year at best.

There is just too many of the missing parts we need out there in FA to ignore it this year.

With our offensive and defensive lines this year there is no one on the planet who could have given us a chance to go 7-1.

The game is won and lost in the trenches first and foremost.

We need some fixes with the O-line first imo.
