All of you will owe him an apology if in fact we win 10 games. Lol. Any win above 7 is acceptable for this year for me. Next year though, different story.
I would concur that 8+ wins would be a step in the right direction. I am not sure how the Jets are internally viewing this upcoming season though. If they anticipate that Darnold is about to break out, maybe 8 wins wouldn't be enough. Regardless, too early to tell.
No, I'm saying we're slightly below average and our new uniforms will be terrible. I'm also saying that it would be almost impossible to not improve this offseason because we were the third worst team in the league last year and we had the most money to spend.
USAToday has, essentially, voted "As Expected" today with a revised power ranking list released after the free agency signings that have taken place. The Jets have moved up one spot to the 22nd position. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nf...stments/ss-BBVhZtZ?li=BBnb7Kz&ocid=spartandhp
Why? Nobody has once said we won't or can't win 10 games, only that we don't say we EXPECT to win 10 ten games PERIOD!!!, that is the difference, every single one of us would hope we can win 10 games next season.
Good teams don't win by going big in FA. While it's nice that we got the best offensive player and one of the best defensive players available, the drafting needs to improve. It seems like this CS has an identity for the team on both sides. This might help in nailing mid rounds picks where Macc has been weak so far.
Can I expect a playoff slot without getting stoned? Wildcard...I don't "expect" us to win our division. But it's be sweet.
B- No center. No pass rusher yet. Not a significant upgrade of the WR corps. But I really like everyone they have brought in
Yes I want a great draft draft too. But look at how successful the Rams were adding Suh and RobeyColeman. Partially helped them get to the Playoffs. We just spent 120 million on star FAs...including one of the best Offensive Players in the NFL. The needle better be pointed upward , no???
