I think the Jets under Tannenbaum are a good drafting team but I don't like the quality over quantity approach or the trade multiple draft picks for proven players that are about to be paid a fortune.

I believe the Jets are a very good drafting team based on the amount of hits/misses. If they had more picks they would be even better.

When judging their draft you have to look at all the players they traded for (Jenkins, Braylon, Cromartie, Holmes, Barlow, Thomas Jones, Favre) as well.

I also think they are obsessed with running backs. They allocated something like 7 or 8 picks to the running back position in 6 years. When you have such few picks and the league is changing to a passing league, how do you keep using picks on RB's.

So I think they are an excellent drafting team but I wish they would:
    1) Accumulate picks more (trading down or trading current players)
    2) Not trade up until depth issues are addressed
    3) Stop drafting running backs/fullbacks.
    4) View late round picks as possible depth as opposed to throw away picks (Scotty Mcknight)
