This all comes back to talent evaluation. The Jets need to get better at it whether it be Tanny, the coach, or the scouting department. We need to attack problems before they become a weakness, not hope that the weakness never shows.

We did this with Sanchez after year two. We depleted the OL and WR around him and said, "Let's hope he gets better to hide the fact our offensive talent declined"

We did this with the OL after year two and after Turner went down in the preseason. We never looked to replace Turner, just sat on our hands and when Mangold went down and Slauson had a separated shoulder, you saw the problem.

You saw this at RT after year 3. We kept Hunter until the last preseason game, marginally improving him with Howard.

You see this at LB where we Demario Davis and who ready to fill in for Pace, Scott, and Thomas.

At Safety where we have two old, but solid flyers, both had to be acquired through FA.

We have been one step behind fixing problems, not getting out ahead of them the last couple years. On top of this, Sanchez has not developed into an elite QB like we hoped. Again, I ask the question I always ask, why did we remove the talent around Sanchez after year 2? There are two scenarios, he gets better after year 2 or worse. In both cases, wouldn't you want to keep the talent on the offense in case he got better so the offense got better. Wouldn't you want to keep the talent on the offense in case he got worse so it could function with him playing worse like in his rookie year? Instead we undercut the talent around Sanchez and told him to become a top 10 QB to pick up the slack of removing 2/3 of the WR group and the decline of the OL

his Grandfather was the founder of Johnson & Johnson, and his father was Vice president of the company for four years, so to say he has nothing to due with it is just wrong,Where do you think his money came from???you think he didn't inherit 10's of millions and more???Where did the 635 million come from that he used to purchase the Jets????When you look him up on Wiki it makes it sound like he never worked a day in his life and was born into a billions

Listening to the post game stuff on NFL network after buffalo v Miami and there talking about bills upcoming schedule. The host goes through the schedule and get to the Jets and says, "... and finally the 'garbage' Jets for their last game." Jacksonville is in their upcoming schedule and he calls them by their normal name and the Jets who have more wins and a much better overall team are called 'garbage'. Not saying we are a bad team, but if the Jets are garbage then Jacksonville is pure shit.
