I have never heard of any team having 3 Monday nighters in one season, some teams get none, just wondering why this year was special, did the people who make the schedules expect big things out of us? or are the dates made years in advanced?

I think the NFL schedulers had something to do with this. I'm not 100% sure though.

You're really confused about why we have 3 MNF games?

Being one of the most talked about NFL teams since Rex got here might have been a part of it. The ridiculous amount of talent could be a factor. I mean the possibilities are really endless.

Don't forget the Thanksgiving game, our Sunday nighter against Miami, and we will probably be flexed into another Sunday night game.

The Jets are a big draw right now.

Max MNF games is 3 and it happens pretty much every year to at least one team.

I don't think there is any doubt we will get another SN game or TWO. It sucks but I'd rather be good and get thsoe games than suck and not get them.

I'm not sure when the flex schedule begins but we can have the Hou, Mia, Pit and Chi games potentially flexed. I am sure we'll get one, I wouldn't be shcoked if we get 2(unless there is a rule about how many nigth games you can have).

This is the first year the Jets have had 5 PRIMETIME games.

As TG said - the league scheduling office probably had something to do with it.

I believe you can have a MAX of 8 primetime games per season ...didnt the cowboys a year or two ago reach their limit? Seemed like they were ALWAYS on primetime.

I don't think the NFL will flex the Houston game since we have the Thursday night game the same week. The Steelers was a possibility but he Steelers are playing SNF already week 13 not sure if they want them again week 15. But if the Jets and Steelers have really good records it's a possibility. Miami would be a rematch. Chicago is another possibility I suppose

Cleveland Browns got like 6 nationally televised games couple years ago, right after Derek Andersons pro bowl season.

yeah I like waking up and having the game on right after all the pregame bullshit.

Even the players prefer 1pm games.
