Please god let it be AJones in his place if he doesn't play. Katnik was just hopeless. I would expect alot of screens to Barlow or used as an option, he does have good hands. Whatever , I'm still confident of the narrow win , based purely on a hunch:jets:
First play from scrimmage for the Bills will be a long throw by Losman to Evans or Price, whoever gets single coverage, for either a TD or a 1st and goal inside the 10. Losman was throwing long all preseason, but aside from that toss to EVans for PI against the Carp, they haven't gone long. It will happen sooner or later!
ohhh Catt County, you know that isn't going to happen. You been toking up on the Allegany River Trail too much. St. Bona's guy here!!!
this upstate slang is getting too much. The Bills aren't going deep because Jauron, while a solid coach, has never taken a chance in his life.
Do I have confidence in my Jets? There hasn't been a single game where I haven't had it. The only thing I am truly worried about is the McGahee/Henry one-two punch. I predict that will be very much like the Dillon/Maroney connection last week, painful to watch. I have NO DOUBT that our defense will strike fear in the heart of Losman. We will win this if we find a way to take the run out of the game. I am not confident in our running game at this time. It aggravated me to watch Blaylock's ineffectiveness. Kevan Barlow gives me a sliver of hope, though. May he be the next LaMont Jordan, bulldozing a trail. Until that happens, I'm sure the Bills D will be dominant in this aspect. In a battle of quarterbacks, Chad takes the cake, hands down. His most powerful weapon is not his arm, it's his brain. He has truly made me a believer with his quick offensive strikes, it seems he is mastering the art of no-huddle. Edge: Jets All in all, it will be a terrific game, and I look forward to watching it. It will be a close one.
there has to be a reason the so called experts were picking the Bills for 3 or 4 wins pre season, and that reason is J.P. Buffalo has always had a good defense, but the problem is J.P. He has done nothing so far. That has been the plan. Give him nothing to do and he cannot lose it. The Jets will try to shut down McGahee and put some blitzes up J.P.s nose. Then live off his mistakes, since they don't score a lot of points in Buffalo as a rule. I think they have a good chance but they never seem to win up there.
I thought there were 3 teams in the NFL that were being very under rated this year. The Jets, the Bills and the 49ers. All teams with question marks, but none as bad as the 3 win seasons so many people predicted, and that goes beyong just the so called media pundits, it was widely accepted that all 3 teams sucked by most NFL fans too. The pitiful teams this year are the Titans and the Raiders. Really bad teams are Houston, Cleveland, GB and Detriot. There are some teams that might join the group, including Miami, TB, KC and the Redskins. The way to beat the Bills is to force Losman to thow, and force him to make mistakes. Special teams and field position will be very important. The Bills always give the Jets a hard time, especially in Buffalo. If the Jets win, I will be mildly surprised, but certainly not shocked by any stretch. The spread should be 3 1/2. The Bills get 3 points for being at home, and the half point for a mismatch in their running game vs. our run D. I would say it would be more, but I think Mangini will have a better game plan than Jauron. One more item.... it looked to me like the Bills wore down against the Pats, and the Jets might be able to wear the Bills down too. Sure, Mangini's camp was tough, but like Chatham said, these players will understand why it was when they get into these games late in the 4th quarter. They won't run out of gas.
17-10 Jets. Losman has been perfect? In doing what/ has he attempted a pass yet this year. I think Chad may have his best buffalo game coming up against the young Buffalo secondary and I think Losman being a terrible QB will be the difference.Jets win an ugly one
better coached??? you have to be kidding me....for someone who worked under billicheck for years, and knows the pats inside and out, you couldnt even stop them, or consistently move the ball on them...how do you get better coached out of that? better coached then they were with Herm E...yes better coached than the bills...no
LMAO! Dick Jauron.... better than mangini?    He's a retread loser than only a senile Marv would agree to work with! :buffaloblows:
