we still have a good shot at making the playoffs. People say we cant beat the colts but honestly they arent that invincible. THey almost lost to the texans who we squashed week 1. Even tampa bay beat the packers. Any given week crazy sht happens which is why we lost to the phins and bills. If you believe we are just a 500 team your crazy.

Who's writing off the season? Anyone not disapointed after our 3 and 0 start to see this team spiral backwards instead of get better is lying to themselves. Good teams get better they don't get worse and we have gotten worse which is why we have lost 3 of 4.

The bye came at a perfect time. This team needs to be confident, have a good game plan and execute it on Sunday. They need to impose their will on Jax and smoke them. They try and take the air out of the ball and end up lossing a close game this season is likely not only over but it could potentially take a very bad spiral down. This is the time to right the ship win against Jax and follow it up with a tough hard game in NE.

If we can do that maybe we get to 10 and maybe we have a shot to make the playoffs. Even if we don't if we go 4 and 4 down the stretch and show progress and Sanchez shows he belongs than this season won't be a waste. This season will be a waste if we don't get better because the last 4 games this team outright stunk. No. 1 in the league on D and No. 1 in the league in rushing, give me a break this team was nothing short of awful against weak competition and it was awful in many phases including coaching.

Heh. Actually I find myself in agreement with your football stuff more often than not. That being the case...

This kind of stuff cuts both ways, though. Before the season I would have thought it more likely to beat Miami and Buffalo than NE, and perhaps even Tenn. (I had no idea going into this season how far those guys were going to fall). I also would have said the Jets were more likely to beat Miami and Buff than Houston.

Well, it didn't turn out that way.
