I say if you can get there (and I feel for the public transportation people, do not know how you guys are going to do it) make sure to get there... This is our season, win tomorrow, another week alive... Most exciting time of the year IMO...
If a state of emergency is declared, we're not allowed on the roads, barring emergencies. In that case, they'd have to play in an empty building.
I don;t blame them. I too have tickets for the game and under current conditions, getting to a 1pm game will be next to impossible unless I leave at 8am, and that's no guarantee because the LIRR and NJ transit might be suspended or severely delayed. Meanwhile, fans down in Baltimore and Philly will have 4pm starts and the storm will have passed them for a few hours. This is complete bullshit on the part of the NFL and the Jets.
I'm about to pull the trigger on 2 tickets in Sec 117 Row 28 w/ parking pass for $50. Couldn't pass that up.
Not too bad The snow is letting up in Merrick ; driving will be tough , but passable . The plow just went down my street ; safe driving all .
Yorktown, New York: roads plowed, driveway plowed. I can see blacktop and no more snow is falling. We're packing the truck for the game! Would love to hear from some Jersey folks about conditions closer to the stadium. Cheers.
Brick Nj has over 20 inches of snow, and my fn' roads still are not plowed, im literally stuck at my house with no shot of getting anywhere, unless they plow these roads before 1030am
My roads are semi plowed here on LI. Going to shovel out my driveway now and hopefully be on the road by 8ish.
Anyone know what the turnpike heading north is looking like? My street looks terrible right now, but thats nothing new...
