Dude, I've taken pictures with pornstars (in fact you can find them in the bullshit forum) but it doesn't mean I'm banging them. And not to toot my horn but I'm much better looking and probably have more game then him.

It's all about the money. Do you have more money than the man? That's the question. Money makes the hoes go wild.

I would think if we were out, he would have told us and Tanny would be working on Plan B already.

It's alot of money he'd be passing up if he signed with us

We offer him 3/36 or 4/48 ... Hou and SF are offering him 3/45 - 4/60 possibly even a 5th year.

He hasn't dismissed us yet and he's thinking hard about this, when your making 16 Million a year, you kind of want to keep on making 16 Million dollars a year.

  4. It's true. They do go wild for the money.

Rich Cimini just said on ESPN Radio that Nnamdi will make his choice within 24 hours.

Goodnight, hopefully I wake up to some good news.

This is starting to remind me of Carmelo and the Knicks.

For years, since his Syracuse days... We've heard reports of Carmelo coming back home to New York. When we signed Amare... Amare made it known that Melo was on his way to NY. Then, when rumors were heating up, we had many people around the NBA saying Melo was going to the Knicks, then he wasn't going to the Knicks and look what happened... He went to the Knicks.

With Aso? We've heard rumors for 2-3 years now that both Revis and Aso wanted to play opposite of eachother. Now he's a free agent. We've heard reports that Aso is on his way to New York. We've started to hear rumors that Aso isn't coming to the Jets etc etc.

Don't worry Jet fans... He'll become a Jet before it's all said and done with.

Now reports have it that Aso will be signed within 24 hours. I'm not worried, I'm pretty damn confident right about now.

We have 5 major elements on our side in terms of signing Aso.

    1) Rex Ryan.
    2) The bright lights of New York.
    3) A winning franchise.
    4) Super Bowl Contenders.
    5) Franchise QB.

Asomugha is a smart guy.. he knows if he plays with the Jets, for Rex Ryan, and with Darrelle Revis, the money will be there with endorsements, commercials, all that stuff. Plus it's the best possible place to set himself up for a post-playing career on TV or whatever he has his mind set on, not to mention the best place for him to actually have a winning season which I don't think he's ever experienced in the NFL.

I think when it's all said and done he will be a Jet. They'll be close with the money and all the other stuff will push the Jets offer over the top.

Lets hope the team doesn't get worse and painfully average in the standings for years after we get our guy like the Knicks did.

Can you imagine him and Revis doing all sorts of commercials and endorsements together? they'd be the new Doublemint Twins.

He is making a decision in the next 24 hours... Not that the jets will sign him in 24 hours.

Shameless plug here, but if you want a place to talk Knicks that isn't full of 15 year olds with access to a trade machine... ahem REALGM ahem... check out homeoftheknicks.com. It's a smaller community, I help run it, good dudes, good convo.

Either way, that trade strapped the Knicks if CP3 or Deron Williams turns them down. Few options, no draft picks, no supporting cast and relying on vets to accept minimum deals at a chance for a title when they could have a better shot with at least 5 other teams.

You're right though, I don't wanna go off topic, I could go on about the Knicks for hours :eek:fftopic:

Oh for sure.. they'll be all over the place.

The big thing is Asomugha apparently wants to be famous and set himself up for a post-playing career as an actor and whatever else. He won't get famous playing for the 49ers or Texans. He's been one of the best players in the NFL for the past 5 years and most people don't even know who he is or how to pronounce his name. Playing for the Jets will change all of that.
