I'm good with doing whatever it takes to sign him. Outside of Sanchez, Holmes and Mangold there isn't a player on this team I wouldn't sacrifice to have Revis and Aso in the same defensive backfield. If Tanny can find a way to pull this off, we can practically puch our tickets to the SB. Remember how many TD passes we gave up last year? Remember how many times we got burned on 3rd and forever? If we sign this guy, it would put an end to most of that ... and also think about how much better our pass rush would be. We gave up 19 ppg without him last year, and with a gimpy Revis. With both of those guys, I bet we could bring that down to 15. We need to go through Brady, Manning and Rivers to get to the SB. Give me the best cover guys we can get, and I'm sure the offense can find a way to put up enough points to win.
Jason LaCanfora made a valid point...Aso isn't necessarily looking for his 1 big pay day, since he's already made a TON. It all depends on how much he wants a ring, since he believes SF, Houston, and Jets are the big 3 contenders to land Nnamdi. If it only comes down to a couple million dollars, with the Jets SB chances and Rex's recruiting skills, Nnamdi to the Jets would be no surprise.
Mike Lombardi reported that the Jets offered him 12 million a year on NFL Network. But knowing Tanny and his magic, his cap number will be 1.2 million and a Crunchwrap supreme from Taco bell.
What a fucking joke. The day the lockout was lifted Russo and Lundberg had a contest about why that day should be baseball day. No one fucking cares about the middle of a 162 game season. Beltran is on the trading block and C.C. had a nice game last night. Thank you, goodbye. These guys call in and wax poetic about Jeter or how Reyes is so special and it makes me wanna shoot myself.
