Well, the ball's on the Jets court now. If what they're saying about Tampa's offer is true, then the Jets need to make a move or bow out.
With the Tampa rumor, his thought process basically went like this: 1. A couple people tweet Tampa is a potential destination for Nnamdi. 2. Tampa has the most cap room of any team. 3. Houston's offer was already going to make Nnamdi the highest paid CB in football by a lot ($14M). Just piecing together three pieces of public information. Even if he signs with the Jets, we can't show he was wrong, since he's just reporting an offer...
I know its what we want to hear but hes the most creditable source of the ones mentioned when it comes to TB stuff
Just read a retweet from someone agent JRRickert or w/e and he said Aso to TB more and more likely....wtf!
All happy horseshit aside, anyone think the possibility having the 2 number 1 corners in the league could end up ugly? Like some ego blame game bullshit?
He was already the highest paid CB the last few years. Hell he made $16M last season. We already knew the Jets would be out priced, just hoped money wasn't everything, but then if that was the case he would have already agrred with the Jets.
