Are the pro barlow people watching the games? The guy stinks. He was handed the starting rb job and lost it. He gets 2.9 yards a carry, has NO explosiveness and falls like a sack of potatoes on 1st contact.

Leon is half the size of him and breaks twice as many carries. Washington is at about 5 yards a carry. When Houston finally got in the game this year, he was at about 5 yards a carrry.

Barlows at about 2.9 yards a carry. The reason the Jets finally have a running game is becuase we have taken Barlows carries away.

He should only be getting 3.0 yards a carry with the occasional breakout run. He's a power back, not meant to carry the full load, but more to get a crucial 3rd and 1, 1st down, or Goaline TD.

The times iv seen cedrick in the line up he was very servicable and filled the void left by jordan(Brusing large back) and Leon is so much like a young martin that i think this combo would do very well.Barlow somehow to me look's over wieght and not as flashy as when he was with the 49ers.But touch down production is right there as compared to what bettis would do for pitt at the goal line. Hey we got depth at running back not alot of teams can say that . Hope we're not paying a billion dollars for all of their service.

To emphasize my earlier post when I said I'm looking foward to a steady combination of Washington and Houston..that is because we really haven't seen the two of them in the same line-up. I don't know how it will work out but I'd like to see. Houston has shown flashes - not consistently I know - but team the two of them up it could be like a lightning thunder combo -and young too. And I like Barlow too. Just because I'd like to see more of Houston doesn't mean I don't think Barlow can play. If Houston comes back and fails to impress, well then we know exactly where we stand for the off season......
