Seriously guys, why the heck does everyone have a man crush on this guy? He's not that good, he's really not. Has anyone watched him play? Because it dosnt seem like it. Housh got so many looks because Chad Johnson was double covered. Housh was matched up with their number 2 corner. Now what? He's going to covered by a number 1 corner. We aren't going after him, and theres a reason the Bengels are letting him walk. He's not that good, period!
Comedic Possibilities don't win superbowl's, and neither do 31 year old receivers that are constantly hurt and will cost us to much money (not to much money as far as cap, but to much money as far as he's not worth it). He's good, but why would the Jet's want a 31 year old receiver if they just cut Coles? no thanks.
He needs to play opposite a great WR with speed to be effective..he'd be a really good fit for a team like Detroit or Houston
actually hes not overrated he puts up nice numbers on shitty ass team and carson hasnt been the same and hes been playing with shit qbs cuz palmer was out last year.
hes on whole nother level then cotchery and coles....housh..cothery..keller..stuckey..clowney sick wideouts
There has been. You just suck and are too lazy to search the threads created to see how many Housh threads have been made and died.
Housh said that he loves the Jets and coach Rex Ryan, and thinks the Jets are a team that can win. 1050
He had an interview on ESPN radio last night and said he'd love to play for Rex. But I'm pretty sure it's not going to happen.
Hes on his way to visit seahawks now. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/9273200/Sources:-Houshmandzadeh-to-meet-with-Seahawks
I don't think we invest a first rounder in a WR this year. The reason is that we all want a big physical WR , 6'2 to 6'5, and I just don't see WR that has those kind of dimensions wroth the # 17 pick. I think we go for Britt or another big strong wideout in the 2nd round (granted they're still on the board). That being said, I think Housh would be a great pickup for us. I know a lot of people just think he's another mighty mouse 5'11 Jets WR. Yet this guy is different. He is about as consistent as you get in this league. His production dropped a little in Cincy because that team is in total turmoil and he had to deal with Ocho Cinco. I've watched Housh closely the last few years and he would be the Jets answer to Wes Welker. He would be that receiver that will always find holes in the defense and catch everything. I know he's 31 but Housh is a pretty special player. I honestly think the guy will thrive next year wherever he ends up.
That's not sick wideouts... Cotchery is an ok receiver, Housh is good, Keller was inconsistent, Stuckey a backup and Clowney had a good exhibition game.
He texted the local radio station here in Philly last night and said that he was interested in Philly as well. He simply trying to drum up interest in his services by marketing himself to the local media outlets.
