Host of Stadium's Opener? We'll Flip You For It

it would be nice if we won the coin toss and opened the new stadium, especialy after the way we closed down giants stadium.

 

And there are plenty of QBs with rocket arms that have Super Bowl rings. That argument is ridiculous, please don't try to push it to any length.

I would like to see the Jets open against Cincinnati (in a playoff rematch) or against Minnesota. If that happens I want them to BLAST Favre!

Of course, this will be happening week 2, after the Giants have already opened the stadium against the Indianapolis Peytons.

 

Considering they play AT Indy it would be difficult for the Giants to open w/ Indy at the new Stadium.

Would be cool if the annual Jets vs. Giants preseason game determined it. I doubt the NFL would be up for that though since it'd screw with the schedule.

I don't see any other way to do it now. If this was Giants Stadium I could care less..(well actually i could give a fuck who opens it now)

But this Stadium is owned 50-50. Coin Toss seems like the only fair thing to do.

Agreed. The award of opening the stadium is ultimately trivial. By the end of the 2010 season, will anyone even remember the stadium unless the game provides some intrinsic memorability (ie, is just a good game) of its own?
