Bottom line is Met fans can rejoice today but don't sweat it Jet fans as the Johnsons have a plan and know exactly what they are doing just look at the hiring of Adam Gase and watch how well this plays out. Can you imagine any coach or GM answering to Twice Clueless ? I'm sorry TGG but IMO , sadly this team will go nowhere until these clueless owners sell the team.

still have father and son making the decisions for the next 5 years - according to the report. BUT it definitely is the light at the end of the tunnel so to say.

the biggest positive is the infusion of cash with the expectation of bringing in some real talent in the FA market.

    We'll see.

This is the point - you have to think that Fred and Jeff would be happy to spend Cohen's money to get a championship that they could claim as their own. The real point is that at least hopefully the team will be on a level playing field with other big market teams - then it comes down to wise talent acquisition and good managing/coaching. Which brings us back to the Jets - thanks to the salary cap they're already on a level playing field, but have been woefully inadequate in talent acquisition and coaching for many years.

There is still hope for Jets on the talent acquisition side. JD may surprise us. I don't see any hope on the coaching side but maybe JD will get a chance to pick his own coach after next year.
