    This right here.

God I can't stand he overreactions here. Hill and kerley have 1 good game and now Holmes is nt worthy enough to be on the roster.

The media calls the whole team clowns, bart scott gets pissed at the media and everyone loves it.

Holmes has very few words for them and he's the same malcontent from week 17 last yr.

God perception changes alot of things.......

IF you are referring to the "rattled" thing, then you have a much different definition of "distorted" than I do apparently as the media reported exactly what he said.

You mean where Tone said this ""I think since Day 1 it was a focus that kind of rattled him a little," Holmes told the Post." in a very unconvincing manner and every headline and story ignored the words "kind of" and "little". You know the two words that described how Tone felt Sanchez felt.

I could see why Tone would get annoyed when every headline had "Tone says Sanchez rattled" when there were words in between that explained his position.

He has had a dislike for the media since week 17. The media thought he disrespected them in Week 17. Then when he came back and spoke in March/April after 3 months of everyone calling him a "cancer" he said he didn't want to talk about Week 17 because it was in the past and taken care of, and then every question from the media was about week 17 and not the future.

    Lmao

The guy is a so called cancer last year, so the first game he goes out, performs extremely well and follows it up with an "I hate you" attitude with the media and he's wrong again? LOL

    Are you serious?

Holmes is a fucking douchebag but him shutting it down with the media is not a bad thing at all. It's a GREAT thing!

Lol @ thinking he needs to act professional. This MF was bashed by everyone including his teammates and you expect him to be civil. Would you like to see a softer Santonio? Happy go lucky Santonio? Fukk that. This guys pissed and has a chip on his shoulder and he means business right now. Can leave that sappy boy talk for Tebow.

What most of you Holmes appologists forget to rembember is that he has YET to ACKNOWLADGE he was a distraction last year. This is why the media is going to be up is ass all year. He has no intention (or should he now) to take accountability now when we are in the 2012-2013 regular season. This dick head had his chance to make things right with the media, now he will be asked every dumb, 3rd grade questions from here on out. He should just shut down the media; because he didnt do the right thisng this offseason.

Leave Santonio alone, you would be pissed too if you had to stay away from the ganja 6 months every year due to the NFL drug policy.

As long as he plays like the old Santonio Holmes and is catching TD passes from Mark Sanchez, I could give two shits about how good or bad he treats the media.

Anyway, Holmes' quitting on the media is probably the best thing that could happen to us.

He seemed to be open several times by beating his cover like he was NOT even guarding him, that being said I believe the JETS offense should be to use him more then they have been. Then when they start doubling him EVERY play we will have other options to explore. There is no doubt when he is on he is beyond deadly and should be used that way.

The OP is part of the double standards around here. Where were the complaints from him and those like him about Bart Scott last week, not talking to the media?

Holmes is a great player. I am glad he's no the team. I understand why he is pissed at some in the media. Why should this be a negative take on him?

Holmes is not a choirboy. That's fine with me.

As long as he keeps putting in the effort on the field who cares? I didn't see him dogging any routes yesterday and if Sanchez had been more accurate on a couple of passes where he had Holmes open he could have easily broken 100 yds and maybe had a TD to boot. Regardless, he played well and had good stats. Nothing to worry about here.

I don't agree. He did his job, Buffalo has CB issues and put their best one on Holmes most of the day, Thats when he should have a quieter day. The almost TD was a thing of beauty that he just missed pulling off. But the Jets looked to get him the ball in places where he could still make an impact to the game. So I would say it was a good day for him because the team won and he did his job.

In terms of the media, the media has been insulting the Jets to their faces all offseason. The whole "Clown" thing was a big blatant insult, so what if he is terse with them, they don't respect him so why should he respect them. With that being said, he will still need to be civil (which he was today) because he cannot afford to cross the line with the Media because we all know they will win in the end (even when they are dead wrong).
