Not saying anything about Holmes, but take a look at the pic at this link worldmustbecrazy.net/world-most-horrible-injury-in-sports/broncos-mccaffrey
actually, he cracked his knuckles in the second game against pitt. hasn't been the same since......:shit:
If I was holding a baby, I wouldn't drop it to grab my leg. You would think this so called play maker would treat the ball like a baby and hold on for all he's worth. By doing what he did showed a lot of people that he isn't worth shit!
He talked shit about Sanchez, and? You think TO and Chad Johnson are better options, and would keeps their mouths shut? I was joking btw. Although, our WRs are so bad, he might be a welcomed addition.
for $10 million a year, i could stub my toe and still hang onto a football.. what's the qb's excuse? that fumble before the half was another of those brain fart plays sanchez is famous for. the guys on comcast sports new england always say that nobody worries about sanchez. " if i was a jet fan, i'd be pulling all my hair out" ( felger). and, he's right!
Dude went down in pain. He reacted. Big deal. We lost 34-0. We were down 17 - 0. Every week cant be Holmes n Greenes fault. Not when we got out-Tebowed by a team that supposedly would have to devote some of the practice time to stopping Tebow. :-/ When you put out a team with starting quality talent, then you can nitpick about your best players. Ppl on here will bitch about Holmes n Greene, but applaud guys like McIntyre who gets handled on every fuckin play. Then the first defense they use is how much Holmes gets paid. Well Ive seen him have big time games. These other bums who set our team back like Howard are the problem.
The way that injury went down it was like he was saying "goodbye and fuck you jets." How does he just toss the ball away like that? It wasn't a pussy act, it was worse. He blatantly threw the ball up in the air.
My guess is a broken foot, meaning he'd be out anywhere from 6-8 weeks. Also, anybody else find it a bit telling that when he went down not a single Jet came over to see if he was okay or how he was doing or what he wanted for a snack or anything? Not a single one. Probably because of that bullshit selfish act he pulled by just launching the ball in the air and costing his team a potential comeback (yeah, I know, wasn't going to happen anyway). Tone Time.
The problem was that the refs fucked up the call. He laid on the ground and did not attempt a football move, so in that situation the play was dead. You don't need to be "touched" for the play to be dead. So it's irrelevant that Holmes threw the ball up.
The refs didn't fuck us over. Don't go there. We have a lot of bigger problems, like no WRs to catch the ball from a shitty QB who has no time to throw and a total lack of a running game.
I said the refs fucked us over on that call. I'm not trying to blame the refs for the overall game, we just played poorly.
So you are saying that anytime a player goes to the ground, the play should be ruled dead? Remember, he didn't kneel or slide. He didn't give himself up to stop the clock. He fell down in pain.
