are you kidding?? ball security is a huge issue with Holmes. the guy puts it on the ground all the time. he has 15 fumbles in 88 games. that sucks. just as a comparison .... Braylon Edwards has 5 fumbles in 99 games.

as far as being 8-8 in 2010 ... the only time he made a play all by himself to win the game was against Cleveland.

I think the guy is extreemely overrated, and there must be 30 receivers in the league right now I would trade him straight up for.

So you guys are going to get rid of Holmes and sign Manning? Did someone sell Woody some magic salary cap beans?

    All problems go away if:

    1. We win more games.
    2. We get him the ball more (because he is a fantastic player.)
    3. Sanchez learns to throw downfiled.

We paid him a shit tone of money and he is a very talented player. He shouldnt' go anywhere. Rex Ryan is a players coach, it is his job to fix this shit and I think that he will able to do it. After all we are dealing with a bunch of guys here lets cut the bullshit and just get out there and start kicking ass. I think his message will be along those lines and I think it will work.

    But that's just it :

Sanchez KNOWS how to throw downfield but if your WR(who is supposed to be your #1) doesn't get open, how the hell can he throw downfield when Defenders are all around him??

This team missed Braylon BIG-TIME this past year.

yes he made plays in those games ... but Sanchez also put the ball exactly where it needed to be. Any decent receiver would have made those catches.
Only the winning play in the Cleveland game stands out since it was a short pass which Holmes turned into a big play with some slick moves.

The guy doesn't strike me as someone with extraordinary ability. He's a good receiver ... that's about it. I really don't get all the hype.

I'm watching Victor Cruz destroy the 49ers right now and thinking that I'd trade Homes for him in a heartbeat. And there's PLENTY of other guys I can say the same thing about.

Actually, it's because we had a coordinator that only wanted to call 5 yard curls all game.
