So what? It's B.S.PN. Seriously though gotta wait for the MRI. That's speculation based on the non-contact.
Ryan seemed to think that in his presser today but he is not sure. Nobody knows what his injury is..all they know is that it is not a break..x-rays were negative. The MRI is apparently so unclear they are sending it to multiple doctors to get their opinions.
All I could think of after Holmes went down and let the ball squirt into the Niners hands was Jerricho Cotcheree. I will never forget that incredible play where JCo makes that catch for a first down and suffered a groin injury. He falls to the ground in obvious pain but, held on in a huge game against the Steelers. Cotcheree has tremendous heart, Holmes has none.
I would classify the issues he had with Sanchez off the field that came to a head on the field in Miami as "Off field" issues. Just my opinion...
That play was ridiculous, I've never seen a team get two TD's scored on them for seemingly intentional fumbles. In Holmes defense I honestly think he believed the play was over, it was stupid and the most laughably absurd fumble/TD I've ever seen (only the Jets have that happen to them), but I don't think it was Holmes being a diva or anything. That said why do people always say he's the only weapon? Kerley is the goods, just get him the ball, and Keller will be back soon, I also believe McKnight can be a real weapon out of the backfield for Sanchez to check down to.
It's COTCHERY and I'm pretty sure the pulled groin catch was against the browns. Homie Holmes than made a Big catch and run in that game that set us up for.... game winning FG?
He played well in 2010 and had great chemistry with Sanchez, so it seemed like a no brainer to bring him back. Looking at it now, I wonder if the Jets outbid themselves for Holmes. But it doesn't matter and with a team with crappy receivers it doesn't make sense to get rid of Holmes.
