Hofstra Drops Football Program

    This is just sad.
    Didn't they build that stadium not to long ago?

    folks - hofstra is starting an allopathic medical school which classes start i believe in 2011........any school setting up professional programs like this are in for mucho gov't subsidies if they follow certain parameters that are outlined in the "new and improved" health care bill.....

    hence football is the odd man out.

    How the fuck can you settle for that?

    Down here, if we need to cut something, we cut the arts. Football makes the South go round.

    That would explain alot about the South

    Honestly along with Northeastern cutting theirs this unfortunately may become a trend among smaller schools. Hate to see it but real schools can't jeopardize academic intergrity to field a failing football program.
