folks - hofstra is starting an allopathic medical school which classes start i believe in 2011........any school setting up professional programs like this are in for mucho gov't subsidies if they follow certain parameters that are outlined in the "new and improved" health care bill..... hence football is the odd man out. jil

That would explain alot about the South Honestly along with Northeastern cutting theirs this unfortunately may become a trend among smaller schools. Hate to see it but real schools can't jeopardize academic intergrity to field a failing football program.
