It's good. Only criticisms are that alot of the bonus stuff is old stuff that at least i've seen before "if I have to watch that Namath, jack and the bean stalk thing one more time." Also, they have an excellent video of the 1968 Super Bowl season and 1998 AFC Championship game season. To me, they could have added a 1982 AFC Championship game season season video also. They do address that team on the first dvd. Theyfocus on the Jets vs. Miami rivalry which is good. Overall it's very good.

Watched it last night. Outstanding! This is a no-brainer instant buy for any true Jets fan.

Only criticism is that I actually wish they showed more "lowlights" and not all highlights. There were no fake spike game highlights, no shots of fans with bags over their heads, no "Joe Must Go" signs, etc. When I think of the Jets history, those are the memories that stay with me along with the few fleeting moments of greatness like 81-82, 98-99 and 02-03.

The whole beginning focuses on the bitter losses. Enough of that. And too much focusing on the fans. The fans don't play.

With a coupon, I bought mine for about $18 at Borders.

I watched the main feature last night. Overall, it's good. I agree with the notion that they should have showed more lowlights - especially the Belichick disaster, which the DVD seemed to suffer from a little amnesia by just skipping over it. Also, they could have spent a little time on Herm's disgraceful departure.

But, overall, it was a nice doc. Tonight I'm going to watch some of the extras, including the Joe and the Magic Bean, which I haven't seen since I was a kid.

It's really nice to have a DVD set that contains a healthy amount of Jets material. I like it a lot.

The fake spike play can be seen during the Dolphins-Jets rivalry extra. The play is not discussed at any length, though.

The thing people forget about the fake spike game is that the Jets did get to about midfield when they got the ball back (perhaps even in dolphins territory) Esiason tossed up a hail mary in the endzone that went through Johnny Mitchells hands. Catchable ball.

I remember that ball going out of the EZ.

I was really disappointed in the DVD's. I haven't seen the entire thing but I started from the early 80s section and they gloss overor leftout completely big games/stories from those years. There wasn't menton of leaving Shea after the '83 season and the final game at Shea in '83 along w/ the first game at the Meadowlands in '84, there was nothing on the o retirment game against Miami in 1985, nothing on the Cle game to clinch the playoffs in '85,... Also the Jets-Dolphins extra was nice but too hort. They had so many more memroble games that they didn't discuss.

Anything on the Jets is nice but this could have been alot better.

I tend to agree. To me, they could have had more much stuff on the team from 1981-1985. I mean they threw in the obvious highlights in the playoffs but could have had alot more. They way over do the Jets vs. Giants pre-season game after the Super Bowl. Who cares about that. Making a big deal about that. And the Jets/Miami section could have had alot more. As much as I love that Miracle and the Meadowlands game, they over do that also. And the fake spike game is so overrated in that, Miami had like first and goal from the two. Even if they didn't do that play, they were easily going in. That is such an overrated play.

Should have focused on games that clinched playoff berths. Everything doesn't have to be the obvious end of season games, win or lose.
