History of the Jets DVD **Coming out August 7th**

Bump. So I was browsing Amazon, and I came across this, but I missed this thread earlier, so it seems a good idea for anybody else who might have missed it.

BTW, check out the only "review" on the DVD, from some friggin fish fan (who won't even admit it), whining about the dolphags not having a DVD first. :lol:

Too many finishes in the Herm era - you need to add 1978 Matt Robinson's miracle win in Denver...

 

How do you cover some 50 years worth of history in 90 minutes? This DVD is going to suck.

 

Where do you get 90 minutes? It's a two disc set

 

I'm stickying this... This is a fantastic tribute to our J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets!!!! Plus, we got one before the phins did hahaha

This is great news. I have the the previous teams that have been released but this is the one I have been waiting for. I have a Jets Highlights DVD I picked up of ebay that some guy put together from various TV shows which covered the Jets from 1964 to 2003 and included Namath's 1965 Rookie season, SB III, 1968 Oakland v Jets, 1972 Colts v Jets and 1986 Fins v Jets but the NFL Films quality will be so much better. For a UK based Jets fan this is awesome news.

You are complaining about too many herm era games where we had our most PO apps under any coach and you want matt Robinson footage from when we stunk?

 

it does say 90 minutes if you look on amazon or even imdb.com

 

I don't see why you would put 90 minutes of stuff on 2 discs. Hopefully they meant 900 minutes (15 hours of non stop Jets stuff woo-hoo!!)

i dont get the 90 minutes either but thats what its gunna be, which sorta sucks if u think about it

 

there's no way its only 90 minutes on 2 discs. that just doesn't make any sense to me.

maybe 90 minutes each disc but why wuldnt they specify that
