Fair enough. I guess I will just go on record as saying I think it sucks because it 1) sounds dorky and forced and 2) only serves to divide people who would otherwise agree on most things. But it's obviously not a big deal and I'll shut up now.

Who thought that the 2007 Giants, at 0-2 and losing at halftime in game #3, would make the playoffs as a wildcard and proceed to blow away all competition on their way to their SB championship? Anything can happen. Even for the Jets.

That's always been the complaint, but the moniker has survived. I thought it was pretty geeky when I first heard it but now I just file it away with the rest of the TGG terminology.

I dunno if I agree with you. Grant it it's a label but just because you don't agree doesn't mean the world's gonna explode. I think a person who feels negative vibes off the Jets comings and goings only serves as a watchdog of possible ineptness and failure and gives notice to those who cannot see through green tinted lens. Now that sounds dorky.

Can you imagine if we all agree about everything? Radio would suck, life would be boring and this forum would be empty. Just saying.

Sorry about the dorky username. (J/K) I'm actually a bit of a darksider. I've seen too much bad shit happen to us over the course of 40 years of being a Jet fan. It's a protective mentality. I live and die by what this team does. I try not to get too high over a win, or too low after a loss. I was only 10 when Joe Willie did his thing in 69. To quote Ranger fans, I'd like to die in peace.
