I noticed that guy got banned. Any particular reason for it? Was it a temporary one or is it permanent?
Here's the problem - hope is a loser mentality. I'm not calling you a loser, I'm just saying it's old and tired. Hope is a word you use to avoid the real problems and never leads to resolution. Generally it's aimed at something beyond yor grasp. This win is not beyond the Jets grasp, it lies solely in their hands and it will happen. So F hope, F nervous, and F the TItans. The Jets are winning this game, it's just that simple. Great match ups for the Jets.
Someone had to bring up the 3 & 15 draw play daze again.. Fckn Hackettism still lurks in every dark place doesn't it... We're 7-3 just like alot of other teams however, we do have momentum on our side here and perhaps a schedule tailor made for a 6-0/5-1 run to close the season out. Lets not worry about the Ghosts of Jets Seasons Past. This might be the year they get excorsized for good.
You have to live in the moment. If you're not pumped for this game after we were out of it by Halloween last year, then you can't enjoy the NFL. Games like this are what it's about, you can't fear failure. I don't think there's any way we get blown out, I think we're in it late and it comes down to a play or two, as usual.
Can we stop using this moronic "darksider" term? I'm not saying stop discussing Jet fans and their distinct outlooks on the team but word "darksider" reeks of some nerdy, harry potter message board.
Trust me. There is no way these Jets get blown out. No way. uh uh. Not gonna happen. If they lose, they lose but it's gonna be a battle to the last tick. Get your popcorn ready!
The only thing that made those draws more demoralizing was when Joe Walton had his finger up his nose during the play, because like clockwork, NBC would switch to the sideline and show him looking like a clueless tool. Joe Walton, not Hackett, invented the Jets 3rd and 15 draw.
The Darksider term has been on the board since like 2001 or 2002, coined by either CMan or Green Guy. I don't think it's going anywhere.
