Suprising a Jets reporter doesn't know Ellis is a 3-4 end. He mentions only 1 defensive starter is a 3-4 system player-- Ellis was drafted to be a 3-4 DE and excelled as a rook as a 3-4 DE. Other than a lackluster last year, his other troubles had mostly to do with the "lets make this guy a DT and see if he can be the next Warren Sapp" experiment which was awful. I wouldn't be alarmed at all if he didn't have huge stats this year either because he's not supposed to on a 3 man line.

If the players have such a wealth of talent and they are that valuable then why cant they adjust to and thrive in a system they were introduced to last year...wth
