Amazing that one of the teams we are tied with is playing a completely meaningless wk 16 game. I'm rooting for the Phins and Ravens this week.

The Chiefs absolutely stink. If Miami keeps doing what they have been doing they win handily.

BTW, Herm will only be in coaching another 2 weeks.

If the conditions are bad in KC I think you will see a lot of Ronnie, Ricky, and Patrick running the ball.

Its going to happen! I've been saying it for weeks! The Cheifs are playing hard for Herm, and the weather has been nasty the last week or so.

If the Cheifs win and then we lose to the Phins, We'll be tied with Miami in season record, division record, and conference record. The Phins break the tie against common opponents. If the Phins win this week and lose to us, we got them. Bottom line is no matter what happens between KC and MIA, we still HAVE to beat Miami to get in. A MIA win or loss this week doesn't really make a difference (unless we lose to Seattle, but that's a whole other story)

Really, this KC-MIA game is completely irrelevant as many are saying.

We're going to have to beat Miami.

i life the chiefs in KC...they have been avg over 20 points a game since a loss to the Titans, they are playing at home, the Phins have issues putting up points scoring 21 or less in there last 5 or so, the 49ers moved the ball easily until they ht the redzone but that was without frank gore, and the weather will be freezing and windy....that doesn't do anything to help Chad's deep ball and outside the hash throws

and yes the game that matters is next week but I would still like to see them lose along with the Pats so we can win the division outright from both teams without tie breakers

if you are talking about the Phins game, it is not meaningless to them. if the win out, they will be 11-5 and all that would get them in the playoffs with a NE loss or a BALT loss

Sure, if either we or phins win out, and ravens win out.

and i think colts have to win one of their last 2 or something like that.

Yeah, the colts are 10-4 and they own the tie-breakers over both New England and Baltimore. (They beat both teams head to head) So, as long as they win one of their last two they clinch the first wild card (they clinch the 5th seed). The ONLY way the Pats can win the division is if BOTH the Jets and Dolphins lose another game while they win their last two games. And the ONLY way they can make the playoffs is IF they win out and either the Ravens lose at least one of their last two OR the Colts lose both of their last games while they take care of their own business. So the Pats need help no matter how you look at it. (Although, all they need is Dallas to beat Baltimore at home on Saturday night and then take care of their own business and they are guaranteed the 6th seed)

It's funny, I have a strange feeling the Cardinals are going to give them a really tough game in Foxboro this weekend. (Although I see the pulling out a close one) I also see the Bills giving them a heck of a game the last week of the season (I have a strange feeling they could get picked off in that game). So, it's VERY possible that the Pats will miss the playoffs. (Although, it's also very possible they are in as the 6th seed - I actually think the most likely scenario is that they are the 6th seed and we are the 3rd seed - that would be fun)
