What? His on the field speed is 4.5 flat? When was the last time you were on the playing field with him and happened to have a stop watch with you?

That didn't make too much sense.

  2. Before he ran that time, many were questioning his ability to play corner due to lack of speed. I'm not saying he's a slow DB..but he's considered average. As you know, there is a difference between "40 speed" and "football speed"

There is a difference obviously...IMO football speed is how quickly you figure out in your head where you need to be. There have been many players with so so speed who have had great careers because they were always in the right place.

    That's beside the point though.

I had never heard he had average game speed, I guess I will just take your word for it.

  4. Well he may have proven alot of people wrong including me w/ that 40 time. Maybe he's much faster than advertised. I'm just expressing some concern toward him b/c he doesnt have a true position. I,however, will not deny that he is a true playmaker in the secondary.

We have drafted about 60 db's over the last 5 years. Seriously, because of all the young talent at that position..and the way it was abused over the last 5 years with draft picks...its the one position that we need to stay clear of unless they see a golden egg in the 4th or 5th round.

Barrett is here...and you have to believe that either Strait or Miller will be able to take on the other position this year (Probably Miller).
