So that means literally everything he says and done must be "bad behavior"...yeah that makes sense. I'm not saying he's a saint, just saying not to make judgement calls before you have all the relevant information. I said it in my post: maybe he pulled himself out because he was injured, and maybe he threw his helmet out of frustration of being injured. Not that he was pissed off with how many throws he was getting or with the new offense or anything like that.

And guess what: I was right. So jumping to conclusions, interpreting things without all of the information and having a pre-determined outlook on everything he says and does was wrong.

    Lesson learned? Apparently not.

Holmes haters sound like whining crybabies.

I mean "So that means literally everything he says and done must be "bad behavior"...yeah that makes sense."

Do people really think that? Apparently. It's not accurate, among other things.

THe hatred for him is over the top.

    Just sayin.

You are probably right. It IS over the top. But here's the thing. Holmes has EARNED that bad rep. This was all self inflicted. He is NOT an innocent bystander, BB. So when an event like the one that started this thread occurs, he is not going to get the benefit of doubt.....and rightly so. If he wants this crap to stop, he has to change the way he behaves. If David Harris had done the exact same thing it probably would have been a non-story (not that David Harris would show up to OTA's so out of shape that he wouldn't be able to finish a shorts and T-shirt practice.)

I wonder if this incident had anything to do with Holmes breaking league policy and not speaking to reporters during mini-camp.

    Stop making this an issue.

    Holmes is the man.
    Revis is the man
    Mangold is the man.

Let em vent if they want to. They are the best at their positions.

You and the media need to "get a life"

I like the utilizing Holmes' strength. I think Schotty missed out on utilizing player's strengths and more focused on his gameplan and putting players into his gameplan instead of his gameplan to his players.

Also this shows that Holmes will be painted negatively because it is a better story and he brought it on himself last year.

Things I thought but nice to hear from the coaches/players

Likely because they were all in the middle of a mini camp and not necessarily keeping up with Cmini's BS.

It wasn't just Cimini, it was all over the place and trust me- they have people monitoring every word said about the franchise.

I know they have people monitoring what is being said. But do you think the position coach is going to have time to go to the media and refute these things while they are in a 3 day mini camp? I don't.

i agree. i'd rather the team focus on the team and getting better than have to address the crap/bias/fabrications that comes from the media...

Yes I do, there are plenty of opportunities to refute those stories at the time. I hope it's not a big deal but I'm not buying Lal coming out 2 weeks later to refute it.

I am buying it because our coaches have more important things to deal with than newspaper articles.

You probably believe everything they tell us then. I'm more skeptical than that, I know teams lie all the time.

There was nothing said by Lal that was unreasonable. And the fact that he came out after the mini-camp and OTA's is perfectly acceptable considering the amount of work they needed to get accomplished in a very short amount of time.

You are entitled to your opinion, I disagree. I think it's more PR stuff than anything else. This could have been squashed 2 weeks ago and should have been.
