    That's pretty funny.

Anything prior to the NFL-AFL merger is not legitimate.

hahaha. Go watch the Showtime special on the history of the AFL.

SB3 was what changed the game of football after the first two super bowls...NFL AFL merger? What do you want some AFL vs NFL games in the regular season to figure out whose the best? The fact is the Jets beat the most dominating team of the 68 season in the winner take all game.

Let me get a napkin to wipe those tears off your face.

I just can't wait until Brady starts calling out Belichick for the shitty drafting.

Brady: "Use the god damn 1st round picks. I'm not getting any younger!"

Also, Patriots 0-2 since Spygate changed the way the game was played. Nothing prior to spygate counts because of this.

Unless they fold the franchise, of course they will continue to compete...just like all the other teams.

Did you ever really truly feel NE was going to win after Brady shit his pants and took the grounding penalty for a safety? I sure didn't. Their defense is a joke.

NE is the new Buffalo Bills. Congrats.

This is not a slam on the Pats just an observation made on the Dan Patrick show today.

The Pats have been reduced to a dink and dunk, TE based offense due to their inability to draft top receivers due to where they pick in the draft.

Brady's longest pass play all day was 21 yards.

And it takes Sanchez 5 completions to get that yardage.

Take your loss like a man. A loss is a loss where Brady is 0-13 in the last two super bowls on passes that go in the air 20 yards. Brady has underperformed to the level we usually expect from him. Finally everyone is starting to realize it takes a team to win, not just a really good QB. What does Sanchez have to do with anything except being the second to last QB to beat Brady in Foxboro?

Why in hell are you on a Jets board the day after you lose the superbowl? Are you that much of a masochist. We don't like talking to you every other day so you come on the one day this season where we are actually able to talk back. SO BRAVE.

So, looks like the Jets are due for a sweep then, wouldn't you say? You don't even remember when your team was joke, do you? What goes around comes around man. With an aging Brady and a defense that you'll need several years to fix, shit may just be coming around. You're one bad hit from being the 2011 Colts. You have confidence in Hoyer?

I agree with you but not for the same reasons. With current parody and free agency and especially the way the Pats have stockpiled draft picks, I don't hold any significance whatsoever to historical trends.

It's kind of like the flip of a coin. People assume that if it's heads 10 times in a row, the odds increase that the next flip will be tails. Not so. The odds remain at 50% every single time. And with the Patriots, if anything, the stockpiling probably increases their chances slightly more than the average NFL team in the hunt.

That said, the Pats losing was a good thing simply because they suck, I can't stand Robert Kraft, Brady is dispicable, Danny WouldGiveHead blows, Belichick is a cheat, Groinkowski is a dick, etc., etc.

Sadly, that stat reminds me of our offensive stats all season.

What kind of weak ass submissive shit is that? Are you fucking kidding me? It's not their stadium anymore, it was our home game. Fuck the Giants. I hope we spray paint over that shit next time, video record it and email it to all of them.

I've been hoping so for about ten years now. Remember their first Super Bowl seemed like kind of a fluke vs the Rams, by the time we went to Foxboro in Week 16 the following year and knocked them out of the running, Chad Pennington was supposed to be the next Joe Montana or at the very least "this year's Tom Brady".

I still have a lot of faith in Rex and Sanchez based on what they've done and how they've done it, if 8-8 is the bottoming out year then we've come a long way. They need to hope New England comes down a notch or hang around long enough until Belichick and Brady just go away. I'm not sure yesterday's game makes any difference, they've won and lost Super Bowls, turned over almost their whole roster, yet they never seem to go away.

We need things to really break our way for us to take over the division. We can win it next season, we need to fill our needs and hope certain players step up.

For the Jets to win the division, they will need 13+ wins.

That won't be happening next year.
