Stopping someone in the red zone would be nice once or twice though. These corners have given up 15 passing TDs. 9 in the last 3 weeks.
Teddy Bridgewater. Derek Carr. Johnny Manziel. Zach Mettenberger. Jimmy Garappolo. Same guys I told you back in December, January, February, March, April and May. _
True. And honestly it's probably better for both the jets and geno to part ways. I think the hypercritical atmosphere that comes with playing professional sports for a ny team will keep geno rattled. He'd be better off playing in the Midwest.
I think that being said outside of the 15 yard personal foul they were the right calls made against NE, I thought we hit Brady late (although others will disagree with blind homerism but my opinion was we got away with one). I was shocked there was no penalty on Chandler Jones on the play Geno was injured, textbook Brady rule. It's a meaningless penalty at that point but if anything our QB was injured on a dirty hit and we deserved the 15 yards for it.
She's actually a really good reporter. Always asks good questions and actually knows wtf she's talking about.
Disagree with the Brady hit, I do think Barnes flopped on that same play though lol There were 2 phantom holding calls against NE, one on Browner and another on someone else. Revis got away with his physical play on Decker past 5 yards on that 3rd down play and Chung clearly grabbed Amaro's jersey on the 2 point conversion. It was an even called game, they didn't lose because of the refs but there were some pretty bad calls.
I just try to read the player. He has a plus arm. He's athletic and when given time finds his target. If the defenders kept the Pat receivers in front of them in the red zone they would have held them to field goals. Six points instead of fourteen. When you have a young QB it is dangerous to put the onus on him for every loss. Not everyone is Luck or Manning. Some take more time. He may never be great but we all love Phil. Rivers now and if Seattle tanks we will say their QB is too small. No organization can react like we fans do if they plan on having any long term success. Sometimes with a young player improvement does not produce immediate results.
