I've been a fan 30 plus years. I know heartbreakers. We were 1-5 coming in. This was not a "heartbreaker", this was an expected loss.

then you're just not very god damn smart. The Colts had the greatest QB of the last 3 decades and then knew when to shit the bed and got a guy right after that could be just as good

Oh so the secondary playing bad confirms idzik should go? Ever better logic, idzik probably should have been let go last year when dalton was having a field day on our secondary.

If you kick lots of FG's in the red zone you deserve to miss the long ones at the end for a loss.

This was a great Sanchez effort by Geno. Played lousy in the first half in the red zone then a bit clutch in the second half to tighten things up including a great late drive but came up short at the end.

And no, it's not all about Geno by a long shot but he's got to be the guy who picks his team mates up and just like Sanchez he needs to be picked up by them with the occasional razzle dazzle to make us all hope he'll eventually become a consistently good QB.

thats why I said IN THE END, that last drive was about just why they needed in the clutch.

Not heart broken at all, realistically it made no sense for these Jets to beat the Pats. As many have said, a win in this season isn't exactly currency for the future, whereas losses almost certainly are.

Two things I'm enjoying right now:

    1) In 5 of the last 6 games Geno Smith was given the ball late in the 4th quarter in a one possession game. He failed all 5 times. He succeeded (to varying degrees obviously) TWICE in that situation tonight.

    2) Pats fans aren't exactly happy. Their defense just got gashed for the second time in 4 weeks. A loss would have been bad, but this is almost just as embarrassing for them, and the takeaways of this game are not positive for their team regardless of the scoreboard.

It was a great effort, but the mistakes, lack of TOs, and inability to finish in red zone were killers. We are back to Same Old Jets football.

LOL. Fuck everything. Fourth year in a row we lose a very winnable game there and lose in a horrible, horrible way. Fuck Quigley and Allen. Geno played respectably tonight for once.
