With Greene though, LT had no business being in there at that point. Greene actually had success yesterday while LT had none. They had the same amount of carries but Greene rushed for 53 and LT 16. (off 9 carries) Greene's 5.8 YPC was great and I want to know why Greene was not put out there.
They went with LT I believe because he has seen the endzone more than anyone that has ever played the game.
Not yesterday, he could not get anything moving. Ask any Jet fan, beat writer, announcer, every single one was expecting Greene to pound it in there. Even Steeler players are wondering why he was not in, especially after the success he was having barreling them over. Besides, you stole your post from Madden. lol
lol true.Unfortunately the Jets were under the impression LT was the man to get it in for that situation.
I would not be surprised if the technology is such that the fans manage to find a way to jam the signal. There should be a technical timeout for cases like this, especially in a game of this magnitude. Either way, the right thing to do is turn over the calls to your QB. Who probably would have had enough sense to jam Greene in there 4 times until he broke the plane.
What I find most bizarre isn't just that a set of headsets stopped working........but that both the main set, and then the backup set, both happened to fail, on the exact same day as the AFC Championship. That's one seriously huge coincidence.
