For everyone who was saying that you hire coordinators because proven good coaches are rarely available.... I'm not saying he will save our team and turn it all around but he definitely has proven he can win. I wouldn't be upset if we landed him or Quinn.
Got to bring him in for an interview. Hopefully Woody's already contacted him. He's taken two franchises to the Super Bowl and actually won a division title and a playoff game with Tim Tebow at QB. If he can do that, he can certainly help the Jets.
Our history with Defensive Coordinators has not been very good overall. Are there any good Offensive Coordinators who can scrap the archaic ground and pound attack the Jets have adopted over the years? Playing conservative gets you conservative winning records at best...at worst...always losing close games in the 4th qtr.

the time to hire fox passed way back in 2001.....of course the broncs say they are interested in quinn. they have to say that and go thru the motions and also satisfy the rooney rule so bowles will talk to them as well. gase will be their next HC most likely.
Elway can write his own ticket in Denver. He's a God in that state. Supposedly the Broncos have two years to name Bowlen's successor which will be one of his kids, or multiple kids. Bowlen already offered Elway 10% of the team in the past. If the team ever leaves the Bowlen family, you can bet that Elway will be at the top of the list of new potential owners.
