Man Mr. Electric, Kenrick Ellis sucks ass as a draft pick.

He didn't bury Pouncey on the goal line hard enough! He didn't punch the ball out of Daniel Thomas's grip on that 2nd stop of his!

Cut him. Rex Ryan the former D-Line coach who drafted Haloti Ngata fails once again with a draft pick.

He made a play that will get overlooked but there was a play in the 2nd half where Moore was rushed out of the pocket towards the sideline and threw it out of bounds. I saw on the initial play Ellis stopped running after Moore and the other defenders chased him but what I saw on the replay was Moore realized the RB was uncovered and went back to get near the RB in case Moore threw it his way. Smart heads up play that probably went unnoticed by a large % of fans. I was like why the fuck is he stopping and then they panned out on the replay.

Personally, I would sit him next week. With all those big WR's next week Rex is going to need an extra DB.

Ryan Matthews is a tough runner though and Tolbert is a tough goal line back(When he isn't fumbling....look at you vs the Pats Mike.)

Curious, that post didn't even strike you as sarcastic, even a little?

I may have some work to do.

oh okay that's why he did that.

I was wondering the same thing, but then I didn't concentrate on it on the replay.

That's a heady play from a kid making his 1st start. Good for him.

When I saw him pull up I focused on him on the replay because I wanted to see if he just quit on the play or what the story was but when I saw the Miami RB (the shot was too panned to see who it was) standing all alone with a bunch of blockers I saw him pull back and head that way.

He also didn't allow Thomas to get by. When Thomas came into Ellis' gap he hit him which I also thought was a great play. I don't know if this is what you were alluding to

Kenrick did an outstanding job in his limited action. He was blowing up lineman and hustling all night.

I thought Ellis looked excellent for the few plays I saw him in, aside from getting overpowered by Richie Incognito at the beginning of that play where Ellis made the eventual tackle in the backfield. He doesn't seem to be the strongest guy on the line, but he's got good leverage and he didn't look too bad disengaging blocks. Last night answered a lot of questions for me.

See, I know you're getting tired of me telling you how much you suck at this, but your post is a glaring example. You had a pretty good opportunity in this thread to try to put one down, and instead you laid an egg.

Why would you reference the Cromartie thread since you pussied out on that thread close to a month ago? Were you biding your time until he got to abuse another shit QB? Maybe you should have gone with glassy eyes instead, because that's all you got?

I lob these softballs at you and you whiff 8 times per pitch. Do I need to argue that Rex isn't fat so you can mount something close to a competent counter?

He gave us some quality snaps in his first ever start. I'm very intrigued by him. He's got the size and strength but for a guy his size he's abnormally quick. I really hope he doesn't go back to being inactive when Ripoti is healthy. Hopefully we get some feedback from Rex today.

I liked what I saw, He showed flashes of being disruptive in the middle. Once he gets stronger and has more experience he may be what we need in the middle.

One thing I have to point out is this was just the dolphins so we have to take it with a grain of salt.

I was pissed drunk, so I didn't even notice he was in the game, but I'm glad to hear he did fine his first time out. Will definitely come in handy as the season progresses.

You need to do two things here:

    1. Stop overreacting.

    2. Admit this thread was premature and stupid.

The only person that "whiffed" in this thread was you, dudebro.

Let see last time I looked if the QB is running for his life or is laying on grass he cannot throw the FB right so it does matter how many WRs SD can put on the field :jets:

I haven't rewatched the game yet but @ the stadium it looked as if Ellis was absoluly kicking serious ass.

He was constantly getting in on many of the plays when he was out there...

    Kenrick Ellis

IMO, Ellis played extremely well in the limited amount of snaps.

Was very aggressive and was winning the battles. Had 3 tackles and 2 for a loss.

Looks like a potential great rd 3 pick-up.
