    Have I ever felt it?

Sure, lots of times. But then I got married and I haven't felt it or seen it since.

What are we talking about again?

    Oh this....

I wish I could've seen JWN in his prime as well. Shoot, I wish I could've seen him at all. By the time I was born in '73 he was on the down end of his career and even if he were on TV I wouldn't have remembered bupkis.

In all seriousness to the OP: while I absolutely love he passion that Fitz brings and the way that passion permeates throughout the team and is reciprocated, I think it is fair to say that Chad and even VT brought hat as well. Chad was just a ball of passion and VT was a man on a mission later in his career. As for O'Brien, I honestly just can't remember a lot of detail from back then. I liked him as a QB, but I don't recall his personality and so on even though I watched his whole career.

Despite these earlier examples, Poeman has a point. Geno has inspired zero confidence and passion in the team and Sanchez didn't bring much either. Favre was talented but old and not committed to being here. NeilOD was cold as ice. Browning Nagle was.... well he was Browning Nagle, so do I need to say more? So in roughly a quarter century we've only have three QBs who really seem to inspire and rally the team and all three had serious baggage. And to Poeman's point, it has been a decade since anyone really did this. Not a great track record.

Fitz inspired by that other Harvard grad JFK: "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country"

Fitz: "Ask not what the Jets can do for me, ask what I can do for the Jets"

Thank Woody for all that garbage that U posted. Out side of Fitz who else from that list would U not give a ugh. Maybe I would give Chad a pass since he was injured so many times. Vinny was OK so no ugh. Naturally Fitz is also a no ugh guy. The rest should never have made the NYJ roster even MS with his 2 AFCCG appearances.

    How could I forget McElroy.

He's the only one I've actually met.

As far as Tebow etc....I was only thinking game starters.

Man every time they cut to Fitz, I see Marshall or Decker right there smiling and hugging him. It feels good man, feels good.
