No. The PATS have earned a measure of respect, and never talk trash. The Phinz OTOH have earned nothing, get constantly owned by us, and talk lots of smack.
For me, I think this is so. I despised the Dolphins for so many years and for so many reasons. The Shula/Marino Era put it over the top for me... Duper and Clayton burning our asses every year. Larry Czonka and Jim Kick punishing our lines. Marino always found a way to win and then there was the undefeated season... Christ, I got SOOO sick of hearing about that... Nick Buonaconte still won't let people forget. But the Patriots piss me off more than they do these days. Bill Belichick, simple-minded, socially-challenged introvert that he is, is one lucky son of a bitch to have Tom Brady. I'm not saying he wouldn't be successful, but he definitely wouldn't be this successful without Brady. I think it's safe to say I despise the franchise, the braggadoceos fans, the Boston attitude, hell... I even despise the f*cking state of Massachusetts.

I have ALWAYS hated the patriots much more than the dolphins. I always root for the dolphins to lose, but i don't resent dolphins fans as much as those arrogant patriot bastards.

You're right about 2000. Most of the Jets games wound up on TV. But in 2003, my junior year, the Jets tanked and were rarely on.
Yeah, I hate the Pats more than I hate the dolphins. I think a big part of that is because I am a part of the new age of Jet fans.
Great Post! This had just crossed my mind the other day and i would have to say, for me, this season was a shift from PHINS to the PATS. Still hate the PHINS but want us to beat the PATS soooooo bad. I think this season was the beginning of a beautiful rivalry signifying a new era of JETS football. :finssuck: ats_suck:
Patriots without a doubt, mostly for their fans. I have met plenty of Dolphins fans that haven't pissed me off nearly as much as the Patsies' fans have in the past. Plus, all of the "I love Tom Brady" front-runners that didn't seem to care about the sport until Mo Lewis flattened Bledsoe's lung.
