sure you can and I explained why one has nothing to do with the other. games 17 and 18 aren't anymore dangerous than games 1 and 2. sure, adding more games increases the likelihood of injury, but then that can simply be applied to games 15 and 16 in an argument to reduce the schedule to 14 games. beyond that, 14 games increases the likelihood of injury more than a 12 game season, so why not reduce it to 12 games. but playing 12 games increases the chances of injury more than 10 games, so maybe it should be a 10 game season. etc., etc. if wanting to add two games makes them less concerned about player safety than they are at 16 games, maintaining a 16 game schedule instead of reducing it to 14 games makes them just as unconcerned.
A player with ovaries apparently, the fines are getting ridiculous. If you so much as touch another players helmet you'll get a fine, you dont even have to make a fist or even swing at it to get one either. As if your hand was a damn hammer and can actually penetrate through it.
