When comparing points for scored strictly by the offense and points against given up solely by the defense (ie. removing special teams scores and Int/Fum returns) the Jets rank fifth in both categories.
If as you say the Jets win out, Chiefs win out and Steelers win out then all that needs to happen is for Cinci to beat Denver next week. Chiefs would win AFCW and Jets would take the #6 spot on conference record tie breaker. These games can't come fast enough though because all these what ifs are just mental masturbation.

Yes because Steelers winning out gives Denver 1 loss, Cinci loss would be another and if they win their last game they would be 11-5, Jets win out they are also 11-5 but KC winning out takes AFCW and Jets would win the tie breaker for the 6th seed over Denver with a better conference record.
