No, Baalke sucked up to Jed York and they all basically imploded. New 1st time owner...new 1st time GM...new 1st time Head Coach....prescription for disaster.
5 years/$125M and full control of the football operation. That's probably what it would take to get Harbaugh at this point. Of course he'd probably just take that offer elsewhere and have somebody match it. The reason Leon Hess went to Parcells is he saw the spark Parcells had instilled in the Patriots and the total dysfunction around the Jets. He also knew he had next to no time to fix things. Parcells took the offer because it was a lot of money and because he was starting to get aggravated with his inability to get full control around the Pats. Kraft was a savvy owner and he wanted to retain some control over the operation. He just didn't realize that somebody was going to blow Parcells away with an offer he couldn't refuse.
Yep. If they offer him a top level contract he is staying. I do not know if they are willing to do that.
Flores had a lot of resources when he was coach of the Fins. I think the inability to turn those into a playoff spot over the last two seasons did him in. The Tua thing is a heavy conundrum also.
