I read your comment and thought "that's what I said,". Then I read my comment and realized, "that's actually not what I said". Yes, what I meant was that we have evidence that _Harbaugh_ has run a NFL offense. No doubt, if he's available, he's the best choice.
The Jets are such a mess at this point. Having an established HC with multiple winning teams on his resume is a necessity at this point. The coordinators are just going to get rolled by the combination of lack of talent, chaos in the hierarchy and general short fuse already burning when they come in the door. No coordinator is going to get 2+ seasons to turn this thing around. Harbaugh has his flaws but failure to perform under pressure is not one of them and that is the primary characteristic the next Jets HC needs to have.
Where there is smoke, there is fire (just type into Google "Jim Harbaugh Jets, and you'll see". https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.sp...-jets-need-to-start-making-wedding-plans/?amp https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nj...am-gase-espn-analyst-says.html?outputType=amp https://www.google.com/amp/s/thespu...-new-york-post-michigan-football-hot-seat/amp https://www.google.com/amp/s/fansid...ugh-new-york-jets-rumors-trevor-lawrence/amp/ Jets land Trevor Lawrence with the #1 overall pick and Woody Johnson will make Jim Harbaugh a Jet 100% too.
With his NFL history of failure, Adam Gase was not qualified to be hired as head coach. Adam Gase has done absolutely nothing in his tenure at the New York Jets to alter the statement above. He did not deal with any conditions because of the coronavirus that the other 31 teams in the league have not dealt with. As a head coach Adam Gase sucks. I was not mad when the Jets did not hire McCarthy, I was mad they hired a coach with a terrible resume both on and off the field. Winning percentage at New York Jets: .280.
I'd rather just think you were off your damned trolley because if what you have witnessed on the field for two seasons isn't convincing you, then nobody on this forum has a cat in hells chance of doing it. I had to check it wasn't April the 1st tbh
Perhaps, but at least we would've hired a guy with actual, proven success, and there's more than a fair chance he would've done better than Gase in any case.
Understood. My point was when has he had consistent success as a coach to even make you consider him being a good coach? If you're eating a pack of cookies and they're all disgusting, when you're half way thru are you considering if the rest will be good? No. You tasted them you know they're bad. How many years of Gase as HC do we need to see to know he's bad? What does he have to even hang his hat on? His offenses have been horrid. I haven't seen anything that even gives hope. No culture, no plan..... Idk what else to say here lol
Utterly and totally preposterous and now I think you are just wumming us all for some bizarre sexual kick.
Hardly. Just an old fart who remembers Harbaugh wearing out his welcome just about every place he's ever been.
Nope, not gonna happen. There is also rumblings of the same thing I told you about Harbaugh. He can't make it in New York. His mentality is warped and he would be eaten alive. and so would the Jets. He is not creative and by his coaching at Michigan not well liked by players choosing not to go there. Its more likely he'll be fired by Michigan this year. So who would want a losing coach that just got fired? That would be straight up these loser Jets alley. Fit right in with Bellichek checking out during his press conference to get hired.
