She's become a pouty spoiled brat and yeah, she can meet an unfortunate end. Loved the last episode. I hope they keep the action coming as it keeps the flow of the show moving.. When up against the Covenant, they remind me a lot of Starship Troopers. Seems they need bigger guns..
Her entire storyline is coma inducing. Pure filler that's not needed. I thought it was odd seeing the Jackals (Kig-Yar) welding energy swords. I've never seen that in any of the video games. Their species avoids close combat. They usually carry a plasma pistol and a shield it sniper type weapon.
Seems the producers and writers wanted to go their own way with HALO. They don't follow the animated series script either which did cover the Spartans from childhood. In case you ever want to see the animated series, I think you'll be impressed. There were 4 chapters.
I actually own it but haven't watched it yet. I really like the books. You should check out the first one for sure.
Starship Troopers was so messed up in the Verhoeven edition. I mean Rico and the Roughnecks were jumping around in powersuits with tac nukes in Heinlein's original. A stick of 8 powertroopers would face off against hundreds, sometimes thousands of arachnids. Cut to the movie and the Mobile Infantry have instead become Infantry with Assault Guns, rockets and flamethrowers. Total downgrade of the concept. Heinlein wrote Starship Troopers because he thought tactical squads using nuclear weapons was the ultimate future of warfare and the US had just suspended nuclear testing.
Just caught up with this the other day. Kwan Ha storyline absolutely sucks. The one entire episode of her was B R U T A L. The last episode was solid and enough to keep me interested. Thought the entire thing was meh at best until that.
