I can't believe you guys thought the fucking Bills could avoid fucking up. They're a glorified College team. Syracuse could give these guys fits. I think this game just shows this isn't the '07 Pats. Yeah, cut last years top kick returner. Makes sense. Brady threw a pick too, cut him.
No really there is such a thing. When Miami makes the playoffs with Noodle Arm Pennington at QB....you have to look deeper at the reason why.
As soon as McKelvin got hit on the KO return I said to my friend "wow can't believe he didn't fumble that" and as soon as i said fumble he fucking fumbled it fuck the Bills for sucking and Patriots for getting so damn lucky
Well, the only thing I can is, better them than us losing this game. Holy shit, can you imagine this site if we lost this way?
Relax guys, the Raiders are next. This will give us ammo to bust Jeaux's balls. Tonight isnt a total waste.
Because they had a solid defense and ran an offensive system that benefited greatly from his ability to be nearly perfect with his high percentage passes and on-field management. They were one of the better teams in the NFL. Then they went to the playoffs and got beaten by an even better team, which is what the postseason is for after all.
Not hard to have a solid defense when you faced teams like Kansas City, Oakland, Seattle, Denver with all their injuries, and SF... Weren't they all like bottom 10 teams last year?
I bet it would've went exactly like every other sideline interview in history that didn't involve an old drunk trying to get a smootch.
Boy the Bills suck. ESPN loves the Patriots as much they love the Red Sox. 'A Patriot wouldn't commit a personal foul." Idiots
Holy shit I am still recuperating from this one. That's about the loudest it has ever been in that stadium. Even in the playoff wins over the years people have been pumped after the game, but I haven't seen people acting like they were in the parking lot afterward probably since the snow bowl game. Thoughts: Jets fans should be very, very happy that Jerod Mayo got hurt. It doesn't sound like it will be season ending, but I bet he misses at least 2-3 weeks. The d looked lost without him too. Pretty much no pressure on the qb all night. I'm thinking that until he is back and healthy they pretty much stick to the 4-3 as much as possible. They won't get any pass rush at all otherwise. The o-line looked pretty shitty at times. Brady was hurried all game and made some awful throws in the first half, some of which were on him but others he clearly didn't have enough time. The running game also was non-existent, although Maroney looked good at a few points. The secondary actually did okay in shutting down the Bills receivers. Meriweather especially was all around the ball and made some nice plays. I thought the Bills played a solid game. But if the Pats play like that again any other week they will get their asses handed to them. They've had plenty of underwhelming season openers against bad teams and gone on to do fine, so you can't read all that much into week 1.
