Although I agree that the Yankees aren't even close to most supported team in the world, I don't believe that the people in far off places around the world who can't name any United player besides Rooney or Ronaldo deserve to be called "supporters."
Trust me. In alot of places around the world, people recognize those pinstripes. When most people outside of the U.S.A. think of baseball, the majority think of Pinstripes from the Bronx baby. By the way, Nice Avatar.:up:

I love this thread, the Yanks haven't won anything in 8 years and the Met fans are still infatuated w/ the Yanks.
Again, I LOVE this thread. No matter how good the Mets are or how bad the Yanks are the Met fans are always worried about the Yankees. It's a sign of respect, when they inore this thread and stop bashing the Yanks it will mean we have become irrelevant.
This thread has been dead and buried a few times. It now gets bumped in response to Yankee trolls posting stupid threads trying to dig at Mets fans. It's ridiculous, and wastes everyone's time. Plus, it justifies trolling spilling over into other threads, where some of us, on both sides would like to simply have rational discussions about our team. Again, this thread's bump was in response to something YOU posted: the Pedro thread. YOU'RE the one obsessed with someone else's team. It's got nothing to do with respect, or a lack of it. It was simply a response to a different stupid thread. Congrats junc, you're now officially a Yankees troll.
Yes I am obsessed. I post a joke thread about the Mets, a team I haven't said a word about except mentioniong their new Stadium but I am obsessed. Just have fun for a change Alio. Sports are supposed to be fun..
