Mauga looked solid; Bellore looked pretty good next to him for most of the night as well. He had one bad missed tackle, but other than that he looked like he could be solid depth inside as well.

Funny, I was gonna put him on my short list, but that missed tackle was a bad one.

I agree totally Mauga had a helluva game. I have to say Kenrick Ellis was the man tonight as well. I'm waiting however to see Westerman show up.

Disappointed in Westerman. He showed nothing.

Bellore looked bad at the goalline, he ran straight into the guy in front of him, which happened to be a Jets player...

the defensive front 7 looked good all night.

the backup secondary looked a bit weak at times though.

Kenrick Ellis could see time in the rotation early on. He did play well, and he'll get better as he goes on. He plays real well laterally. He will learn moves to get to the QB and he'll be able to push a pocket down the middle.

And Ropati jacked up a OL so bad he spaghetti legged him. It was beautiful.

Kyle Wilson. His play looked like the 1st thing Revis said to him is "you gotta get your head around." He definitely appeared to make it his business to have that mental clock in his head that all good CBs have.

Nothing outstanding. A little slow off the snap in my opinion, but he was also getting double teamed most of the times I was focusing in on him, so it was hard to tell. All in all he didn't make any impact plays, which is what we are going to eventually need him to do.

I missed most of the first half so someone else would have to answer that question.

Mo was pretty non-existent out there. No real pressure that i noticed (didnt watch that closely).

Wilkerson looked like a rookie. He was a little nervous, and he looked like he was thinking out there.

Its to be expected. He wasn't a liability, but didn't make any impact plays.

What exactly would being a "liability" entail on defense?

That CB Allen on the Dolphins last season was a liability. He was actually on the Texans for a bit, and might still be

Someone you can run at consistently and get a good gain. Someone you can stand up on his pass rush and make him ineffective. He didn't have that going on.

He did a quietly decent job even though he was thinking out there. Hopefully by the end of the preseason he'll stop thinking and just go. He's got the ability. That I could see out there today.

Idk about you guys but I didnt expect that much. He was around the ball on running plays and like you said was double teamed on passing plays. Its hard to go from playing at temple to being double teamed by nfl players.
