E Smith is much improved from the beginning of last year. I like him as a starter at safety.

Westerman looked great last night. The Jets can really use him this season if he keeps that kind of play up. Very impressive.

    Harris made some plays.

Satelle - I was happy for him, but in fairness, the ball was thrown right to him. Still, he caught it and picked up yards.

No other place to say it, and I'm not going to start a thread on it, but..................

Do you think that Westhoff is pissed, considering that Greg Buttle referred to him as "Mike Westerman" no less than 3 times?

Must have been all of that time spent during the offseason, catching pizza dough.

I was laughing at buttle all night. Mispronouncing names and talking about irrelevancies...

Buttle was horrible, I cringed every time he called westhoff westermann, was he specifically trying to mispronounce EVERYONE's name?

    144 words,

Handbags have been a good accessory in completing women's outfit. There are a wide variety of handbags that come in different styles, designs, materials, colors and sizes. These accessories have great significance because of their versatility features. Both men and women carry bags, however, it is just well-known that women use them more than men. Furthermore, handbags are also use to create a fashion statement. Different designs and styles are born each year. Celebrities and popular TV icons are often the first to try trendy handbags to complete their looks. Different variety of handbags were basically designed for different purposes. And to make it widely available to everyone, such fashion accessories are now available in different variety of designs, styles and colors to incorporate with different wardrobes. This is the reason why almost all women have 3-5 different types of handbags in their closet

    That is also all.

He was a one man cringefest. He's always been an unabashed homer but I've never noticed Buttle being so embarrassingly out of touch in front of the mic as he was last night.

You and Mick nailed it. I swear fo' god we have probably the best D-line in football right now, with the players we can rotate in and keep the line fresh, it's gonna be damn hard to run on us.

Ellis is a fucking beast, and he lives up to the hype IMO, cause he moves fast for such a mountain.

Another guy I forgot to add is E's boy, Jarron Gilbert. He only saw time vs. the backups (which is to be expected), but I saw a guy who was a presence in the middle and made plays/tackles. If he can develop, him and Ellis in the middle in a year or two?? Wow.

Oh....and a real small nitpick....Cole has to (HAS TO) down that punt on the two-yard line, which was sometime in the 2nd quarter. There was nothing obstructing him, he has to catch that punt. The punters, in general, looked atrocious last night. Don't give me any of that weather bullshit, neither. The Bengals punter kicked like an all-pro last night. The one out of his endzone late in the 1st quarter was Randall Cunningham-esque.

On a related note, I think we missed out on a couple of turnovers last night because players were too busy thinking about making yards after recovering - one was in the first quarter near the Bills endzone when Tevaseu was unlucky not to keep it in, but the real culprit was Westerman who instead of dropping on the ball to recover it for the Jets and giving our offence the ball in the red zone decided to stay on his feet to try and pick it up. There was another one later in the game where a few players bobbled it along the ground and eventually the Bills recovered the ball.

Defence needs to think about recovering the ball first and returning it second. Obviously it didn't matter last night, but in a real game against a half decent side I'd be really pissed to see easy possession squandered by individual players looking for personal glory ahead of taking the safer approach.

particularly in weather like last night. slippery ball and big ol' Dlinemen trying for a big fatman TD in the rain isn't an ideal situation.
i mean i love a dline TD as much as anyone... but in shit weather the ball has gotta be priority.

yes, completely agree. That first scenario you're talking about led to the amazing punt out of the end zone. So instead of 1st-and-goal, you're looking at 1st and 10, from your OWN 30. Yes, big non-fumble recovery.

Lol, I don't think he's going to be an all-pro next year. I would LOVE if he was, don't get me wrong, but I think it would take at least 2-3 more years before he reaches that point, if his progress continues

That said, I absolutely love the kid, and can't wait to watch his development.

He would have given up a long ass touchdown if the ball wasnt over thrown and picked by Leonard.
