And the better potential long term value belongs to...? I'm just saying...it makes sense. It's not like the Pats won the last AFC championship game ever played.
Well, I have a suffen urge to talk about why Joejet is such a tool, but outside of that I can think of none.
Actually, there are a fair number of people here saying the same thing, and they were still saying it 1-2 months after this guy did. I've immortalized one in my sig. Surely not everyone has forgotten all the doom 'n gloomers that infested this board in the first 6 weeks? It was only two weeks ago that this board was dominated by talk that the Jets would have been better off with Pennington If we lose this weekend and/or next, I'll predict they'll even be back actually (heck, nyjunc has never stopped).
I confess I actually didn't even read the article beyond what I quoted (the first line). But OK now I have, and it seems like it saying exactly what I thought it did, that the experiment of inserting Favre into the Jets system would fail by this point, and/or getting Favre was more a publicity stunt than a real improvement in the Jets offense. Which is exactly what the quote in my sig is saying. So what exactly am I misunderstanding?
I love it when sports writers do this to themselves. Eat your words buddy Favre and the Jets are going to kick denver's ass.
